Victoria Ryan, Sales Director, Logo Tape (Apprentice)
Appointed as LOGO tape Ltd.’s Sales Director in December 2021; Victoria oversees the operation of the LOGO tape Groups UK business. Victoria has 15+ years’ experience within the print and business supplies industry with businesses such as Corporate Express, Staples and LOGO tape Ltd. She was awarded BOSS Apprentice of the Year 2020 and completed the Level 5 Management Trailblazer Programme with Distinction in 2021.
Ben Townsend, Operations Director, Falconer (Apprentice)
Ben started working at Falconer Print at the age of 16 years old as a young lad keen to learn and develop. With the support, and opportunities Falconer have provided him, Ben has developed both on a personal, and a professional level giving him the confidence to go onto achieve to the level he is at today.
This support from Falconer Print, through individuals past and present, along with both NVQ Level 3 and Level 5, has taken Ben in 21 years at Falconer Print from Labourer, to Print Manager, to now the Operations Director.

Karly is the Managing Director of BPIF training, and headed up the team since 2018. She has a passion for creating the workforce of the future in an industry that is changing as such a rapid rate.
Max Walkington, Head of Data and Compliance, BPIF Training
Max is Head of Data and Compliance at British Printing Industries Federation and comes with significant experience in the Adult Education sector, specialising in Management Information, Business Development, Compliance and Project Management.
Working at the BPIF has allowed Max to fulfil several of his passions; data, breaking cycles and supporting others to reach their potential.
Kathryn Hawkins, HR Training & Development Manager, Berkshire Labels
Kathryn has been working as the HR Training & Development Manager at Berkshire Labels Ltd for the past 5 years. She has over 25 years’ experience in Manufacturing covering all aspects of HR, with specialist experience in recruitment.
Cody Pearson, Level 2 Print Apprentice, Pepper Communications
Cody is inspired to be working towards becoming a full-time press operator. He is currently studying for his Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing and Level 2 NVQ in Machine Printing. Cody has achieved great success to date in his apprenticeship and was awarded the Level 2 Trade Skills Apprentice of the Year Award, which he claims has really “boosted his confidence”.
Charles Jarrold, Chief Executive Officer, BPIF
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in London, Charles worked in the publishing industry prior to heading towards the family owned Jarrold Print business in 1998. Following the sale of Jarrold Print, he joined Poole based printer Southernprint in 2005, helping that business gain a reputation as a leading commercial print company. Southernprint was sold by its owner, regional newspaper group Newsquest in 2010, at which point Charles joined St Ives plc. He has also run his own business, partnering with a US print and design software business, developing on-line design and print applications. Charles now heads up the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) the principal business support organisation representing the UK print, printed packaging and graphic communication industry.
Graham Bromley, Operations Director, Hobbs
Graham joined Hobbs as an Apprentice in the Print Finishing Department serving a 4 year apprenticeship. He rose rapidly through the ranks managing the Despatch department, Bindery, and Pre-Press before taking the role of Works Manager and then Operations Director at the age of 37.
Jake Tween, Director of Apprenticeships, DSW
Jake has 16 years’ experience of supporting learners, providers and employers in the field of apprenticeships and technical education. Having held senior roles in some of the UK’s largest awarding organisations, he is now employed as Director of Apprenticeships at DSW, a leading organisation specialising in end-point assessment of apprenticeship standards.
Nikkie Cook, Skanem
Nikkie started working with Skanem at the age of 19 as an accounts assistant and has progressed over 22 years to Finance & HR Manager whilst being heavily involved with some significant challenges along the way. With the knowledge gained at Skanem and the confidence built whilst working on ILM level 5, Nikkie has now taken on a new role within another company, which will give her new opportunities to progress further.
